Lethbridge Municipal Election Economic Development Toolkit

The City of Lethbridge will hold its municipal election on Monday, October 18, 2021. The City of Lethbridge contributes an annual sum of money to Economic Development Lethbridge (EDL) to promote our city as a great place to work, live, build and invest. In 2020 through Investment Attraction programs as well as Business Retention & Expansion services, EDL returned $104 in direct economic impact for every $1 of funding received from the City of Lethbridge.

This page will help those interested in volunteering and contributing to the success of our community by providing information, charts, graphs, infographics and presentations regarding the Lethbridge economy and the work Economic Development Lethbridge accomplishes. We hope those running for Mayor, City Council and other positions can use this page to inform themselves and those they hope to represent about economic development. We invite candidates to review the data throughout our website and let us know if any questions need an answer. EDL collects a lot of data about our region and these reports and other information are just a sample of the rich collection of data we have to share with the business community.
