Workforce Tools and Resources
One of the key pillars the work being done by Economic Development Lethbridge is Market Intelligence & Advisory. EDL tracks relevant market data and provides meaningful insights to support decision making by businesses, government stakeholders and residents of our community. Over the past few years, though research and local data, we have focused on providing viable options for both job seekers and local businesses when it comes to workforce needs and workforce development options.
These tools and resources can be used to gain a better understanding of the local job market, where some opportunities may be and give newcomers to Lethbridge a better understanding of the current job market as well as provide them with information outside of employment.
EDL Job Board
In our continued work to help Lethbridge region job seekers and businesses, Economic Development Lethbridge (EDL) has added a job board to help aggregate local employment opportunities.
This digital tool uses Artificial Intelligence to scrape local and national job boards, selected by EDL, then list all current, and past job postings in several different formats.
The tool, allows job finders to find potential employment opportunities all in one place, and allows business and industry to analyze workforce needs and patterns for certain sectors and communities.
