
Tecconnect to Host Event Aimed at Helping Rural and Remote Businesses & Entrepreneurs

Lethbridge, AB…Economic Development Lethbridge (EDL) will be hosting a dynamic event aimed at helping new
businesses and entrepreneurs in the region with Intellectual Property (IP) strategies, with a focus towards better
supporting women and gender-diverse entrepreneurs in the area.
IP Strategies for Long-Term Growth and Investor Confidence will take place Monday, October 21, beginning at
4:00 PM at Tecconnect, 3582 30th St. N, in Lethbridge. Event partners include ElevateIP Alberta, The51, Catapult
Startups, BIPOC Foundation and Movement51. The session will focus on teaching founders how to leverage
intellectual property for business success. This panel type discussion will allow participants to hear first-hand
accounts from IP lawyers and innovators about best practices for implementing IP strategies.
