Lethbridge, AB… The Lethbridge Trade & Convention Centre will be a buzz with anything and everything Innovation related as the High Level Innovation Conference (HLIC) returns to Lethbridge May 1st and 2nd. The conference, back for its third installment, will highlight innovation in technology, tourism, business, E-sports and much more. HLIC 2026 will feature inspiring presentations and panels touching on the latest trends in technology and business, the Battle of the Bridge E-sports tournament, the Innovators and Investors Dinner held on Friday evening, and numerous local and regional businesses and organizations participating in the trade show over the 2-day event.
“The HLIC was created to bring together the businesses, entrepreneurs, organizations and individuals who are innovating in numerous fields and sectors. As technology and innovation move at lightning speeds, this conference is a medium to highlight that innovation in as many ways as possible,” says Eyren Uggenti, Founder, High Level Events. “We can’t offer all the programming you’ll experience over the next couple days without the commitment from our sponsors. The amount of collaboration we see from our community partners is truly astonishing and through their support we can deliver a truly unique and memorable conference to Lethbridge and our region.”
Economic Development Lethbridge (EDL) through a partnership with Finish technology company Digiole, will be showcasing digital solutions at the High Level Innovation Conference. AI Assistants will be utilized throughout the event and give businesses and presenters the opportunity to inform attendees about their businesses and organizations through AI technology. Attendees at HLIC will be able to scan a QR code at booths throughout the event and then interact with an AI Assistant programmed to provide information and answer questions about each organization.
“Through the use of AI technology, we can build a tool that is easy to use, easy to program and best of all doesn’t need an app or clunky registration page or form to get started.” says Valto Loikkanen, Co-Founder, Digiole. “AI Assistants in some form, are becoming a vital tool in most aspects of business. Retailers can utilize them to answer questions about products and services when they are closed or busy with customers. They are great for entrepreneurs and start-ups to help communicate their ideas and business plans to new markets and potential investors and in an instance like the High Level Innovation Conference that can be used by businesses at a trade show and presenters. The opportunities to utilize AI Assistants are endless.”
More information about the partnership between EDL and Digiole, and the opportunity to create AI Assistants can be found by scanning the QR code at the Economic Development Lethbridge booth and chatting with their AI Assistant or the code found on their conference postcards at the EDL booth.
