Economic Development Lethbridge understands the importance of quality health care and services for residents of Lethbridge and Southern Alberta. We are working with partners including Alberta Health Services, Chinook Primary Care Network, City of Lethbridge and others to help recruit and retain doctors, physicians and medical professionals to our region.
Current data indicates that a large segment of Southern Alberta residents do not have a family doctor, the numbers are improving with work that has been done attracting doctors to our region and we hope to continue communicating the benefits of our region to those in the medical profession across the globe.
We’ve built assets to help showcase the benefits of our region to those in the medical community, in an attempt to recruit them to Southern Alberta. New graduates from medical school, physicians looking to start their own clinic and medical professionals from other countries can all find something for them by locating, or relocating to Lethbridge and area.
