Economic Development Lethbridge is dedicated to providing business and industry with tools and resources that ultimately lead to success in Lethbridge. We understand that every business is different and do our best to communicate with organizations such as the Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Lethbridge Business Revitalization Zone (BRZ), and other like organizations about how we can help.
The EDL Board of Directors is made up of business and industry leaders and allows us to keep a pulse on what’s trending in the business community. Some of the initiatives we undertake to help local businesses include:
- Collaborating with the Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Lethbridge BRZ on the annual Brighter Together business survey.
- Working with Lethbridge manufacturers on systems to introduce and adopt new technologies and automation into their operations. This includes preparing a workforce to operate these new technologies.
- Work on a recent trade area study, providing a glimpse to retailers in the City of Lethbridge to who their customers are, and where they can grow.
- Numerous learning opportunities through Tecconnect and RINSA to help businesses better understand everything from Intellectual Property to adopting and incorporating AI.
