Ford World Women's Curling Championship Brings an Estimated $4.5 Million to the Lethbridge Economy

On March 17-25, 2012 competitors from across Canada and 11 curling nations take part in the nine-day world tournament that attracts 55,400 people. Greg Stremlaw, Chief Executive Officer of the Canadian Curling Association, says “Lethbridge has been a tremendous community for many major curling championships and the recently renovated ENMAX Centre will serve as an ideal location for the best women’s curling teams in the world to showcase their talents.”
