Lethbridge Inland Terminal Ltd, Announces Construction of a $20 Million Facility Near Lethbridge
Lethbridge Inland Terminal Ltd. is pleased to announce that the construction has begun on a $20 million facility that will lead the way for the future of grain handling and distribution in Alberta. Darcy Heggie, Chairman and CEO, says, “With a capacity of close to 1.5 million bushels or 43,000 metric tones, we will be the largest facility in our trading area.”
Lethbridge Inland Terminal Ltd. is a wholly farmer-owned inland grain terminal with a shareholder base of approximately 200 southern Alberta farmers. The terminal is located on 220 acres of land and the owners expect to convert the remaining 211 acres into a major agricultural industrial park.
